Australian Wildlife Parks cares for over 3000 animals at three iconic locations across NSW - Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, Mogo Wildlife Park and Hunter Valley Wildlife Park. We provide our animals with naturally-designed, enriching environments and the very best in expert animal care.
We are guided by our animal-first principles in all we do. Australian Wildlife Parks actively partners with other zoological and educational institutions, including the Department of Primary Industries and the Zoos & Aquarium Association, for conservation and breeding projects, ensuring the genetic diversity of endangered animals and preserving them for the next generation.
We are guided by seven animal-first principles—inspiration, enjoyment, cultural exchange, education, advocacy, community engagement, and conservation—to create amazing experiences for our guests.
These principles ensure that every interaction not only delights our visitors but also fosters a deep respect and understanding of wildlife.
By adhering to these values, we further our mission to always put animals first, making their well-being our top priority.
Collectively these parks home over 3,000 animals and are cared for by a team of 152 dedicated staff and volunteers.
We also provide hands on experience opportunities to TAFE and tertiary students.
